Dear Wayne,

Welcome to Airshow Traveler Magazine's Newsletter, Air Show Weekly, where we give you a look ahead at the airshows and events coming up this week.

All air show information listed is accurate as we know it.  Still, it is best to check with the individual air show to see if there are any changes.  Even then, scheduled aircraft may not appear due to bad weather en route, or because of mechanical breakdown.
In This Issue

Since Airventure is continuing this weekend, we list it again in our newsletter for the second issue in a row.

EAA Airventure, or as it is more appropriately known - Oshkosh, is the granddaddy of aviation gatherings.  There are so many aircraft on display, we cannot, nor will we attempt to list them here.  There are so many aircraft, they are actually grouped by type, such as warbirds, vintage, etc.  We keep meaning to go here every year, but we never make it because of other commitments.  Friends tell us if you love aircraft, this is the place to be.

The photo below of Mike Goulian was taken at the 2007 Gathering of Mustangs in Columbus, Ohio.  Mike's a really good guy and a heck of a pilot.  Photo by Craig Scaling.

The photo below is Patty Wagstaff performing at the Chesterfield Air Show, VA.  Yes, we know she's appeared in our newsletter before.  But, hey, we like her so she's in here again.  It's the cover shot from our January 2008 issue.  This one's for you, PWAS.

Seafair is a huge event held in Seattle, WA, on the waterfront.  Tickets to the event are for the hydroplane races and the air show.  Though we have never been to this event, we have heard great things about it, so we recommend it.  On Saturday night there is a fireworks show.

The photo below of the A-10A Thunderbolt II (80-0168) was taken at the 2007 Aviation Nation air show at Nellis AFB.  Taken by Craig Scaling.
