The manufacturer used the same techniques to make this aircraft. Even the undercarriage looks
more like a seaplane than a land-based plane. Whatever the influences that developed the plane,
it was very light yet sturdy. Plans to build these in high quantities never materialized.
Two shots of Sean Tucker’s Pitts S-2S biplane (FAA #N260SP). In 2003 Sean was
named as one of the top 25 “Living Legends of Flight” by the Smithsonian Air & Space
Museum”. Team Oracle has never had a performance canceled for mechanical reasons.
