Two photos of the only flying FJ-4B Fury jet (Bu #143575, FAA #N400FS). The Fury is the
Navy version of the F-86 Sabre. This Fury is part of the Mig Fury Fighter Team based in Driggs,
Idaho. The aircraft was first delivered to VA-192, the Golden Dragons, on board the USS Bon
Homme Richard, and ended its military career with VA-216, the Black Diamonds, aboard the
USS Hancock in Vietnam. It somehow avoided being scrapped and was used for testing. Were
it not for this twist of fate, there would be no Furies flying today.
Two shots of Commemorative Air Force’s FG-1D Corsair (92468, N9964Z).
