Here's a few samples of what's inside:

Pictured above are a pair of C-130E Hercules aircraft based right here at Little Rock AFB, AR.
The aircraft in the top photo (62-1548) is from the 62nd AS (Airlift Squadron), the Blue Barons,
314th AW (Airlift Wing). It shows a high velocity airdrop where a drogue parachute pulls the
cargo from the plane. Once the load is free of the aircraft, cargo parachutes inflate to safely lower
the cargo to the ground. With this method, a container can weigh as much as 42,000 pounds.
The aircraft in the bottom photo (62-1824) is from the 154th TS (Test Squadron), the Razorbacks,
189th AW, and demonstrates the CDS (Container Delivery System). In a C-130, up to 16 pallets
of cargo can be delivered with this method, which uses the force of gravity to dispense the cargo
from the aircraft. After each container is clear of the aircraft, cargo parachutes inflate to safely land
the cargo. A special note about this particular aircraft - it was damaged by rocket fire on the
ground at Quan Loi, South Vietnam, on November 17, 1969. It has obviously been repaired and
is doing fine in Arkansas.
In the second frame you can see that the left rear tire is tearing itself to shreds. Judging from
the elliptical shape where the right tire meets the pavement, it appears that it is locked.
